Responsible AI panel at the Latino AI Summit

Dr. Michal Tapia and Ruby Garcia invited me to speak at the first in-person Latino AI Summit, two days at Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York on November 9 and 10. I am on the first day, in a conversation on responsible AI usage moderated by Angie Hernández, who interviewed me about AI last December.

Responsible use is something I have been arguing about for years: how bias in AI scales with the systems that carry it, and why control has to start with regulation that makes companies train and test their models properly. The summit is built around the idea that Latinos belong at the center of AI, not at its edges.
